According to the Office for National Statistics, a total of 137 million working days were lost to sickness and injury in the UK during 2016. Musculoskeletal problems (including back pain, neck and upper limb problems) accounted for 30.8 million of those days (or 22.4%).

A Health and Safety Executive (HSE) report on 'Work Related Musculoskeletal Disorder statistics (WRMSDs) in Great Britain 2016' puts the number of work days lost due to work related back pain alone in the UK for 2015/2016 at 3,417,000.

Chiropractic may help relieve a number of problems, including:

  • Back pain

  • Neck and shoulder pain

  • Joint pain

  • Migraine

  • Neuralgia

  • Arthritic pain

  • Sports injuries

  • Sciatica

  • Muscular aches

Chiropractic is a way of adjusting the bones of your body to improve skeletal alignment. Realigning and re-balancing your body, in turn, may help to relieve pain and discomfort. This result of this may often be improvements in mobility.

Chiropractic is non-invasive - there is no surgical intervention or need for prescribed medication: chiropractors use their hands to make the adjustments.
